Title: Hakushaku to Yousei
Anime/Manga: Manga
Season/Chapter: Chapter 15
Release Date: 2011
Genres: Fantasy, shoujo, supernatural, romance
Ongoing/Completed: Completed
Plot Summary: There is a legend that states that anyone who possesses the blood from the Earl or ruling lord of the fairies is entitled to a sword that is proof of that bloodline. However, if you are a fake, let's say a thief, then your body will wash up on the shore. There is word of a fairy doctor who is not only knowledgeable in the way of fairies, but who can also see and hear them who may be the key to solving the puzzle of the sword. Who is this fairy doctor and how will she be able to help when fairies don't exist?
Review: The storyline is appealing, but it leaves you hanging. Maybe there should've been a better ending then this if the series was going to be discontinued? Maybe the author was unable to continue with the series foe personal reason. I don't know, but this manga is worth finishing. The illustrations are beautifully drawn and attractive. The female characters don't wear sexy or skimpy clothes in this manga because of it's timeline around the Victorian Era.
The characters' profiles are aggravating. My favorite characters are the fairy doctor's partner and the Earl's butler. Everyone else has me bagging my head against a wall. I'm also not sure about the MC relationship. I do appreciate how the author includes both female and male perspectives, which is why their relationship is frustrating. No smut, no ecchi, varying degrees of romance and no need for censorship. It seems original to me, but I could be wrong.
I think Hakushaku is worth reading, but be prepared to be unsatisfied. Like I said, something is missing.
Opinion: Hakushaku took me by surprise. 1) I didn't expect it to end the way that it did. 2) The storyline was fascinating, but left me dangling over a shark tank. Are they going somewhere with the character developments? 3) Where is the rest? I know they couldn't have ended it with just chapter 15, right? I heard there was an anime, maybe I'll make time to find and binge ... we'll see.
Rating: I give Hakushaku 8 brownies out of 10. There really should've been a continuation or at least a more complete ending.
As always, I do not own any of the pics used in this blog.
Entirely focused on the genres of smut, romance, adult, harem, gender bender, mature, ecchi, and maybe more yuri than yaoi.

Distancia ~ The Untouchable One ~ (Manga)
Title: Distancia ~ The Untouchable One ~
Released Date: 2016
Genres: Supernatural, romance, fantasy, drama, romance, harem
Ongoing/Completed: Ongoing
Plot Summary: A young girl is invited to stay the summer at her grandmother's house after accidently burning down hers. Once there, she encounters an eccentric witch, who happens to be her grandmother and a family of werewolves. All may have a crush on her, but who will she choose?
Review: This manga has good character profiles, not strong and that's because Distancia is still fairly new so the characters personalities have yet to be shown fully. Maybe later?
The illustrations are beautiful. The artist decided to use color and what a good choice that was! The romance had just started to heat up. Jealousy had just reared its ugly head too. No, not that head... This is not ecchi or smutty. Think fairy tale romance.
The storyline is not completely there. If one had to guess (without spoiling too much) the storyline would be; a girl comes across a new situation in which she meets and falls in love with someone. If that is the case, Distancia is not all that original, but that's alright. This manga does give some freshness to the genre and it's well worth your time.
Opinion: Distancia is still in its infancy. Technically speaking, I don't think a week has passed in the storyline. What has been released wets your appetite for more. It's not smutty like most of the other snimangas. It's pure innocent romance. You know, like a fairy tale girl meets boy. Also, this manga is in color...SCORE! Not many are (except manhwas) so this was a very good find.
Rating: So far, I give this manga 9 howls out of 10. When I finish it, this rating may change, like the phases of the moon...
As always, I don't own the pic...

Seikon no Qwaser (Manga)
Title: Seikon no Qwaser
Author: Yoshino Hiroyuki
Released: 2006
Genre(s): Action, adult, ecchi, drama, school life, mature, romance, shounen, yuri, supernatural, breastmilk
Completed or Ongoing: Completed
Plot Summary: This was a complicated, yet beautifully intricate story of two sisters who got involved in a battle for humanity. A religious war between the Catholics and Orthodox had begun. The end goal is to find out the real truth behind Jesus Christ. People named Qwasers have powers that needs to charge by sucking women's breast(s). What they draw out of suckling is something called soma. A type of strength giving force; mother's milk I guess?
Not all Qwasers are "good" or "evil". Maybe misunderstood or extremists is the better term. Seikon no Qwaser had so many betrayals that you will second guess who is on what side. Or, if there is even a side at all.
Review: This manga was great. The romance between the characters was a little frustrating, but worth the wait. Even the side characters' relationship developments had to work for their love interest. I don't usually give the plot away and I still won't now, hoever, if someone asks nicely, I may put it on my blog (or vlog), My Animanga Cray Show where I discuss the chapters or episodes of my usual genres.
I have read in the comment section (on the site that I read the mangas on) that my fellow otakus were lost. That's why I say Seikon is complicated. But, I will break it down, but sgsin, only if asked. Seikon no Qwaser is well worth the time. I recommend you go slow as soon as you get lost.
Opinion: I didn't know this manga had an anime until I was surfing for a pic.As I was reading Seikon, I kept thinking that this should have been an anime too. The storyline, however, is so tricky and unbelievable that I understood why some readers got lost. That is not including the amount of adult, ecchi, romantic, yuri, content included.
Have you ever watched a show called CrashBox on HBO? They had a segment on the 15 minute show called Distraction News. In this segment ,they told a fact while a shit load of random things popped up all over the screen while she was talking. At the end of her lecture, they asked a series of questions to see how distracted you were. This manga used breast, violence, and rape, sex, S&M, etc as distractors, thus preventing you from following along with the story. Don't fall for it! The story is good!
It was also extremely religious and "historical" (<= depending on which way your beliefs lean). Giving up any more than this would give the twists, secrets, and surprises away. It is well worth the time invested though.
Rating: Everything about this manga rates high for me. Storyline, character development and profile, its genres levels, and illustrations. In terms of originality, it may have been done before, but I haven't seen it. This ended up being one of my favs, (Kaikan Phrase being my #1) so I hope that the anime doesn't disappoint.
I give this manga 9 soma drained titties out of 10. You won't feel bad wasting your time on this one
NeW tErMiNoLoGy AlErT!!!!!!!
breastmilk: Some animangas have lactating women, This is means that when she gets her breast sucked, milk will squirt, or leak...depending on the author and situation.

Trash. (Manga)
Title: Trash.
Author: Yamamoto Kenji
Genre(s): Action, adult, drama, yuri
Ongoing or Completed: Ongoing
Plot Summary: This manga is about 2 assassins who are hired by a crime boss. So basically this is about the jobs they take on and the shit they go through to complete their missions.
Review: This manga is so not for kids under 18. Honestly, I would say 25 since people are still influenced before this age. There is a whole lot of killing. I'm talking blood and guts displayed in a horrific, gruesome, terrible way. There are rape scenes as well. Some with a dick and some with other objects. A lot of this killing and gruesome activities revolve around high school students. The graphics are decent, but the updates are slow. Maybe I should switch manga sites?
Opinion: I got hooked. I'm not sure why, but I did. This manga was so violent and so not what I expected. It took me by surprise with the amount of guts I've seen. If you've seen Gantz, this is something like that. I wouldn't recommend this for the faint of heart. If you're not in to this kind of stuff, don't waste your time. If guts and rape mixed in with a whole lot of violence is your thing, then this would just be mild compared to the other similar things you probably read or watch (like Gantz)
Rating: Trash. is very adult. It doesn't disappoint. The drawings are good and detailed. The character developments are crazy as we are still trying to understand Bullet's past. The storyline is following their daily lives, which happens to be accepting new missions to kill various people for their mob boss. The chapter endings are probably what keep me enthralled enough to continue. So be on the look out for this manga. If it ever becomes an anime, WOAH!. They better not skimp on the violence, guts, or blood. And it better be uncensored.
I give this manga 7 spilled intestines out 10.
I decided to give this a graphic rating, so what!
As always, I don't own these pics.

Shokugeki no Soma (Anime and Manga)
Title: Shokugeki no Soma (Anime and Manga)
Author: Tsukudo Yuuto and Saeki Shun
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Ecchi, Romance, School Life, Shounen
Ongoing or Completed: Both are ongoing. The anime is on season 2. The manga is on chapter 176
Plot Summary: A young boy is thrown into a tough culinary school where he battles against other students in an "Iron Chef" like match called Shokugeki.
Review: The anime is well drawn. I must warn you that it's very ecchi. On all angles of the gendersphere. This anime takes food/ingredient descriptions to a whole new level. It is also very censored.
This doesn't take away from the ecchiness known by most animes. Of course, there are uncensored ecchi, but that's not the focus for this animanga (sry, I got lazy). If you like cooking shows or anything similar, you shouldn't be disappointed.
Opinion: This is one of my favorite animangas. I don't watch it for the ecchi, although the fact that it was ecchi was what led me to this manga and consequently it's anime. Like all (from the ones I've read) manga remakes, the anime misses and remakes a few of the scenes. Not that it was a bad thing. Like I said I like Shokugeki, they've made me a fan.
Oh, and the anime stretches the scenes to be longer than they should be. For example, it's season 2 and we're still trying to figure out who won the big tournament. I will not give spoilers, but I do recommend this anime and it's manga. I prefer to read mangas first. Depending on the storyline, though.
Rating: The characters' profiles, developments and illustrations are good. I like the storyline because it's not overly complicated and it caught me hook, line and sinker in both forms. Shokugeki, I wouldn't think, has originality since I imagine a lot of cooking animangas run along similar tales.
If I were to compare the level of ecchi to spicy food, I'd say it was fairly mild. Yes, they have foodgasms in the nude, (spontaneous stripping is what I'll call it) but it's censored. However, like I said, it isn't a deal breaker. Ecchi is there, strongly at that, but I've seen worse IMHO.
Out of 10 jiggly titties, (because that's ecchi), I give Shokugeki no Soma, the anime, an 8 out of 10. I give the manga a 9 out of 10.

Rating System
I have decided to use a rating system that will be based on:
* Character Profiles and Development: how well the author gives life to the characters
* Illustrations: how well the art is drawn
* Storyline: how interesting the plot is
* Originality: how common (how often or not) the theme was told by others
* Smut/Ecchi/Romance/etc. level: how strong each theme is in the anime/manga/manhwa
* Censorship: if it censors or has pointless dumb censors
* If I'll continue watching the episodes/seasons or if I would read the manga or watch the anime (if it was originally a manga)
0 => Will not watch/read again
6 => Neutral
10 => Really like and might be one of my favs
I was thinking a rating system was needed to try and understand what I was basing my review and opinions on. Hope it helps and stay tuned.

Puzzle (Manga)
Title: Puzzle
Author: Morie Satoshi
Genre(s): Romance, smut, one shot, psychological, school life, shoujo
Ongoing or Completed?: Completed
Summary: The female MC is looking for the missing piece in her life that would make her feel completed.
Review: "Puzzle" is a manga that would leave you wanting and waiting for more. It feels like it could go on a bit longer, but it shouldn't. The storyline is not strong enough for more than the one shot it was made for. Read if you're bored, but if you have something else to read, read that. It was okay. Much respect to Satoshi for having the courage to get something published though.
Opinion: The artwork isn't the best, but it's tolerable. It didn't make me want to skip ahead so it gets bonus points for that. The storyline is kinda of weak and the male MC is a man of few words. I'm glad, however, that the female makes the first move. This is opposite of how a lot of cultures (including America) choose to make the female protagonist. A docile female who never takes the initiative and is always led by the male. The message of this story; if someone who you want in your life doesn't "fit", make them fit by constantly changing until your relationship fits. Do I agree with this? Hell, no.
*NeW tErMiNoLoGy:
One Shot: This means that this manga was completed in basically 1 chapter. You usually don't find another manga for it.
Psychological: Mostly fucks with the reader's head. Not everything is as it seems.
School Life: School age people. Up to college if the story revolves around that school life.
Shoujo: Manga written and intended for females. Mostly involves strong female characters and romance.
Also, I do not own this picture!

Terminology
Anime: Japanese cartoons that contain 12 episodes in each season. Sometimes the show may extend or make prologues to the main characters' storylines.
Manga: Japanese comic books that vary in length. They give an in depth storyline to series that may have an anime. Most of the times, mangas are way ahead of the anime, so be cautious when reading the manga to your favorite anime. They are read from back to front and right to left.
Manhwa: Korean comic books that are read in a similar style to American books.
Smut: Sexually explicit content. Shows a lot of titties and sexual scenes like rape, gang bangs, sex, etc. Just think of an American romance novel and give it pictures. Then take out the political correctiveness of American culture and society and BAM!, you have smut.
Romance: If you've watched a romantic movie, or have been in or seen relationships, I don't need to define this,
Ecchi: Skimpy outfits, sexual puns, forceful grabbing, extra jiggly titties and ass, and semi nudities. That may not cover it all, (or not, pardon the pun) but you should get the picture.
Harem: Yes. Lots of women (and men!) falling in love with the main character (MC for short) and the MC falling in love with all of them. Decisions not needed here.
Adult: Mostly adult situations that do not have the MCs in high school, junior, or middle school. Sometimes college, but a lot of the times, they already of jobs.
Gender Bender: This is when the MC looks or acts like the gender opposite of what they were born as and their counter part still treats them like their birth gender.
J/K Dorama: This is the Japanese and Korean version of a soap opera. The main differences are that they actually end. No "One Life to Live" for over 20 years kinda of dramas. The second is that the endings can end unhappily. I've cried to many doramas over the years.
Live Action: This is when they take an anime/manga and use real people instead of animation. The result is not always good (take Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon).
I hope this explained a lot, if not, please drop a comment. If you feel that I have left something out, again, drop a comment.
See you next time!

Hello and Welcome
Hello and welcome to my Anime/Manga Opinions and Reviews blog.
You can call me Asiantreat and I'll be your commentator for this trip.
"Where are we going?" you ask.
Easy. We are going to the worlds of Ecchi, Harem, Adult, Gender Bender, Romance, and Smut. There may be more worlds later, but for now these are the main genres.
I have read over 70 mangas and manhwas. I'll be reviewing and giving my opinions into all of titles I can remember as well as all of the anime I have seen.
I have seen a few K/J doramas, but I will not be including them into this blog.
Oh and a lot of these mangas/animes are old. I mean 1990's old. As long as it held my interest until its completion, it will get an in depth review. If not, then it gets my opinion with a short review of why I couldn't keep reading/watching it. Some of these mangas have animes to them so, I'll give a blog for both if it had a remake.
Also, before I forget, this blog will be graphic. I'm not one to bite their tongue on an opinion. So if you are easily offended, leave now. I don't care if you stay or not. I'm just here to give my opinion on a few interesting groups of genres that happen to hold my interest longer than most things. I will curse and get sexually graphic. Again, I don't care....
Thanks for stopping by!
Also, I want to mention that any images I use, I do not own!
